I downloaded the 32 bit version of Oracle to avoid all the installer issues of Windows 7 (6.1 being too high for what oracle expects blah blah). I can connect to the database with no problems but am unable to connect to Crystal.
I get errors saying it's unable to connect such as 'NA000:[Microsoft][ODBC driver for Oracle][Oracle]ORA-06413: Connection could not open.' And 'IM006:[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager]
Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed'
Now I was told that even in a 64 bit OS version Crystal still runs as a 32 bit (x86) program. Maybe this is part of my issue, but I'm not really sure what I need to do to make everything work together.
Any suggestions would be very appreciated! Thanks!

With each new version of Windows from XP to Vista and I would assume now Windows 7, existing versions of Crystal have required an update to be compatible.
