We have a EJB application currently deployed in JBOSS and we have configured jboss to use to a oracle database to store the JMS messages on oppose to using the JBOSS hypersonic db. As part of that, we had to constantly tune the JBOSS thread pool and ejb tuning to ensure stability. Now are are planning to move to weblogic and I would like to ensure the following things
1. Where does weblogic store the JMS messages by default? is it in the db or in a local file such as jboss?
2. How can I monitor JMS in weblogic.
Appreciate if you can please provide me detailed explanation.

is there any such thing for weblogic?, meaning where does weblogic store all the messages?
the weblogic domain is already configured in production mode, I checked,
Services --> JMS Servers --> MY JMS -- .. Persistent Store --NONE, i guess that means that weblogic would store the JMS messages locally in the weblogic instance, can you tell me how i can configure it to point to a database (oracle db).
1.create persistent table manually. The script for create is in weblogic.jar
2.config persistence store and select datasouce that point to db that have table in step 1. in admin console
3.go to jms server and change it to the persistent store you config.

Hi,
By default, the value of persistent store is none which means no persistent. But you can set to file store or db like you have done in Jboss.
To monitor, you can do it via weblogic admin console. I cannot remember the navigation since I reply you by mobile. I cannot check it for you.
But after you login to admin console, try to find jmsmodule under resources group on the left pane. When you found jms queue you want, there will be tab for monitoring which you can customize what statistic you want to see.
