Hi,
By default, the value of persistent store is none which means no persistent. But you can set to file store or db like you have done in Jboss.
To monitor, you can do it via weblogic admin console. I cannot remember the navigation since I reply you by mobile. I cannot check it for you.
But after you login to admin console, try to find jmsmodule under resources group on the left pane. When you found jms queue you want, there will be tab for monitoring which you can customize what statistic you want to see.
