Just for fun, perhaps something like:
SET DEFINE ON
DELETE from tab1 WHERE dim2 = '&&drop_me'
/
DELETE from tab2 WHERE dim2 = '&&drop_me'
/
I have pulled up selected records using the select statement below. I would like to now delete those rows from multiple tables. I know the SQL statement for delete is
delete from <table> where
but I don't seem to be able to delete from both tables? I am sure this is possible, but I just need to know the proper syntax for the delete statement. Any help would be appreciated.

you can't delete from more than one table at a time, you'll have to issue one delete for each table.
