SQL Navigator - please help me...
Hi,
I'm trying to find a book on Quest SQL Navigator 4 but have had no luck.
I'm even considering going on a course.
Does anybody know of any of these for SQL Nav?
Why am I finding it so difficult? is SQL Nav not used much?

It's a great tool for a lot of stuff and learning new stuff as times go along. Maybe it takes a while to get used to, or setting it up properly, which I didn't need to do. Haven't come accross a book yet and the supplied maunal is not that great.
What is you problem with it, installing problems? I have to say it was a major change from version 3 to 4. 4 has too many not very well working featueres, which could be confusing when hetting started. Maybe less can be more sometimes. If you can be a little bit more specific, would be great. It tends to crash or hang in some situation, especially when the network is slow or it freeze other application which access the internet.

why do you use such a complicated tool. nowone woudl write a book about this overloaded tool ( and sometimed bugy tool). You see, I do not like this stuff.
Of course .. contact Quest software for some white paper ... and if you get an answer ... perhaps it helps ... but why the heck everybody uses
the old big unusable tools from Quest ???????
