Our database environment is Oracle 10g on Linux. We develop our applications using Oracle Developer. We migrate from Developer 6i (Client/server) to 10g (web bassed). Application runs OK on WAN, but satellite access is extremely slow and latency slows down daily office work. We have one plant which is connected to center via satellite, but in future we will have more unavoidable satellite connections. Since we don't have any problems with WAN, we think the application code is good enough. Does anyone suggest me any application tool in order to rewrite the application code for a better result? Or does any of you know any tool which accelerates/optimize performance over satellite links?
