The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Print data based on field change in table

Hi,

I am looking for a method to have something printed to a virtual printer based on a change in a field in an Oracle 817 table.
We have a oracle table for our Warehouse Management Software. Now I want to print certain data if an orderstatus is being changed from "to pick" to "picked". At that time I want to have a label printed on that workstation. Therefore I'd like to create a trigger (??) that fires a procedure (??) that prints all relevant data to a virtual printer. Shouldn't be hard I thought, untill I started searching. I am definitely not an expert in Oracle DBA-stuff but despite that I hope someone can give me tips/tricks on this subject.
