if you are going to use acronis, i would recommend to do this by the boot cd, shutdown the server and reboot it with the cd, choose the arconis image with universal restore. this will create a image of the server in the off line mode. then just get a new server and work the other way round, do get the drivers from the new hardware, raid controller etc.
when the image is don you can start the server and the whole server should start without any major errors,
do expect some hardware errors, like nic, of video or something.
