can oracle 9i enterprise manager console be used on a 10g database

I have to use a computer with 9i client installed, but I'm connecting to a 10g database.  I'm trying to use Oracle Enterprise Manager Console.  (I don't need the all the features that 10g would give me).  When I try to log on with a user id that has admin rights I get the following error:

"This application requires more database privileges than you have currently been granted.  Click on Help to get more version specific information."

Help does not explain what I need for 10g (obviously because I'm using a 9i version.)  So, first question can 9i OEM Console be used on 10g DB?   And if yes, 2nd question, what database privileges am I needing?Start Free Trial
