Select Query based on certain condition

I have a view in a oracle database that returns the following rows

PO_NO DOC_NO FORMAT
===== ====== ======
ALPL01 T-123.111 pdf
ALPL01 T-123.111 zip
ALPL01 T-456.222 pdf
ALPL01 T-789.333 acad
ALPL01 T-985.444 pdf

I want to query the view to return all records with "pdf" in the format column and also those rows where the column DOC_NO is the same as a pdf

So the rows i ould like to retrieve are those marked as <--- YES.

PO_NO DOC_NO FORMAT
===== ====== ======
ALPL01 T-123.111 pdf <--- YES (because its pdf)
ALPL01 T-123.111 zip <--- YES (because it shares the same Doc_No as the row above which has a format as pdf)
ALPL01 T-456.222 pdf <--- YES (because its pdf)
ALPL01 T-789.333 acad <--- No (because its not a PDF nor does it share a common doc number with a row that has a format of PDF)
ALPL01 T-985.444 pdf <--- YES (because its pdf)
