Best way to check existing data in a table for certain characteristics

I have a database with a table with existing data...I need to check that table for orphanes ( within  its self)....exampl giud1 = A guid2=A ( that is ok)...guid1= A guid2=B ( that is ok becase there exists the A=A, however guid1=c and guid2=d with no existing c=c or d=d that needs to change.
I need to make a procedure that I can walk up to these servers run the command one time. SHould I use collection, list, can it be done efficiently with cursor...I been hving issues with missing some or altering ones that shouldnt be...
