1.5 million rows
3 million rows
4.5 million rows
And if it seems linear, then you can extrapolate how many rows you can do in 5 minutes.

Oracle has managed to merge 1504853 or 1.5 million rows in Elapsed: 00:00:46.15, which i feel is ok.

it will be dependent on many things. indexes, size of table, size of rows, number of columns being updated, type of data etc.
plus other considerations like row chaining and time to allocate disk space.
triggers will also have an impact. depending on the triggering conditions and the logic within the triggers a single row may be sufficient to cause a 5 minute lag
