SE1 can only support 2 sockets but that won't inhibit your upgrade path as SE will support more.

Oracle 11g Standard Edition ONE is cheaper but in future if we upgrade to Oracle 11g Standard Edition for RAC, will we require to reinstall Oracle again? i.e. is it only a licenses difference or is the software also different?
