Migration from SQL server 2000 to Oracle 10g

I am migrating SQL server 2000 data to Oracle 10g R2 using Data Transformation Services (DTS). There are few tables with 70 million records. I found that it takes approx. 1 hrs for one million records to be migrated using DTS. So, I feel that this method will not work efficiently. Can anyone suggest an efficient method of migration such huge data.
