Query with aggregate function
Given: A table as:
REC_ID WORDS FK_ID
--------------------------
1 word1 5
2 word2 5
3 word3 6
4 word4 6
5 word5 6
6 word6 9
7 word7 9
How the query should look like so the result would be:
5 word1 word2
6 word3 word4 word5
9 word6 word7
I mean, for each FK_ID id to get all the associated "words" (varchar2 type), delimitated by space character. It is accepted standard SQL and Oracle 8.0.6 functions.
A solution would be the use of an aggregate function (a concatenation function) which I couln't found yet:
SELECT FK_ID, CONCATENATE_FUNCTION(WORDS
Does anybody know one?
If there isn't any aggregate function for concatenation, how could I define one?
The solution has to be a query only. Without cursors.
