I searched a file called N8SW (Net8 client) under the OracleHome, but Icould not open it and run it, Can you help me? Thanks a lot.

I believe that the NET8 Client is on the Client CD as a separate product (it may not be on the Designer CD). Try re installing from the Designer CD and take the "CUSTOM" option. This should give you a list of all products on the CD.
If you can not find it there try to locate a Client CD (of the same release as the DB) and attempt to install for there.
