Browse All Topics Dear experts,
One of the biggest troubles here in Experts Exchange are the users that do not close their questions. That's why we are organizing the cleanup effort. This serves two purposes:
1. To close all these abandoned questions and fill the database with the answers where they are provided or to delete the question if it is unanswered
2. To give the points to all the experts that had earned them but due to the Asker's disappearing, they had never received.
But to do this, we need help from the experts in each area - to post recommendations in the questions.
If you are interested in helping in this, please read here:
http://www.experts-exchang
If you decide to help, please post here and I will assign you a range. Please do not post recommendation in any question that is not assigned to you.
Please if you see a recomemndation in a question you had participated, read it and post if you object, explaining why. This will help us a lot.
Thanks in advance!

As mentioned by Annie earlier read http://www.experts-exchang
However for some explanation here itself
You try to either use some of the options already specified by the existing cleanup volunteers or create a non offensive one of your own explaining why you are adding these comments/recomendations. You have to go through the entire question and answers before making a post.
Keep a track of your recomendations along with the question url (the one u see in the address bar) and post them as a question in the Cleanup TA
http://www.experts-exchang
You don't have to give any points for posting there.
Best of luck!!! :)
No comment has been added lately, so it's time to clean up this TA.
I will leave a recommendation in the Cleanup topic area that this question is:
Accept Andrewst's comment as answer
Please leave any comments here within the next four days.
PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT THIS COMMENT AS AN ANSWER!

Dear Annie,
Have some very difficult times which I am passing through. My dad had an accident on July 2nd, A truck ran over him. However he is all right now. I had to go to my home town(Hyderabad, India) and was there for nearly 2 months. Now I am catching up with my work. It will be sometime before I am free for this again.

Why you not try a database trigger that fires after a time limit of last post(1 month, 2 month or as appropriate) and then close automatically.
You think that this approach is not applicable if some of the questions are tens of comments and it is hard to deceide the correct answer by database, in my openion the questions which are not PAQs are those which are not answered properly and writer/questioner waits for best possible answer. I hope my suggestion will be considered and being an Oracle Developer I thinks this trigger results positive.
With Best Regards LeoAhmad
