viewing a form (.fmx file)

i am wanting to view a .fmx file

when i open it in notepad it is unreadable

what can i open it in to view it porperly

i have a copy of Toad software but haven't used it yet so i don't know how to open it with toad.

.fmx cannot be open in an editor. You need to have Forms Runtime installed on the machine where you want to run the .fmx machine.

to view the form in design mode you need to have a .fmb file and Form Builder installed on the machine.

Yes. You can't open a .fmx with notepad or Toad.

You can only with forms runtime.

As an addition - you can convert *.fmb to *.txt and *.txt to *.fmb, create an Object Report (it can be opened by an editor) ... - it is in a File -> Administration -> ...
