UNDO Tablespace

I have a database with 2 UNDO tablespaces (UNDO1 & UNDO2). Automatic undo management has been enabled.

Will oracle make any use of the second UNDO tablespace (UNDO2) ? and under what circumstances ?

In Oracle9i If Undo_Management Is Set To Auto And The Undo_Tablespace Is Set To Undo1 Tablespace. Then Undo2 Tablespace Will Not Be Used. You Can Have Only 1 Default Undo Tablespace Per Database.
