The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

oracle

Hello,

I have a name and address system, which clients make selections on, these selections are stored, in a table (MORE_T_HTTP) along with there SID, VALUE, PAGE, WORD <-- where word is the selected record.
so for example a record would look like
123445;Silver; y; 1
123445;Gold;n, 1
123455;Mr;y;2
When they complete they choise the last enter is the number of records that they want. then I need the Oracle to: select the records from within the main name and address table
within this table  (m_name), I store only for example the list number in this case Silver is list 1, gold list 2. the full name of these list is in R_PREF, which has the IDNO and decription field

What i need to be able to do is to link the records with the m_name table that have the vales set with the the MORE_T_HTTP table then return the total number of records, that meet the selected field with the the MORE_T_HTTP table for that user. But the values in MORE_T_HTTP table are the words not the IDNO.

The number of records with the select is not always the sames, and there are more that one refernce table for example the R_TITTLE table is the same format, as R_PREF, but has the mr or mrs entry.

can someone help me ? I just can not see how to loop on the MORE_T_HTTP table at present
thanks in advance
I hope that this is clear!
