Update Annual Planning Tab with SQL Statements in Visual Manufacturing

I am currently attempting to automatically populate my planning tab in Visaul Manufacturing with the following information:

Part.Safety_Stock_Qty = Part.Annual_Usage_Qty/24
Part.Minimum_Order_Qty = Part.Annual_Usage_Qty/12
Part.Maximum_Order_Qty = Part.Annual_Usage_Qty/6
Part.Order_Point_Qty = Part.Annual_Usage_Qty/12
Part.Annual_Usage_Qty = All Reciepts from 6/1/04 - 5/31/05

All this information can be derived with fomulas based off of Transacations in the last year. I would like to create a SQL statement that would update this aumotacially for me. This is what I can think of so far:

Select part.id, inventory_trans.part_id, inventory_trans.qty, inventory_trans.type, inventory_trans.transaction_date from part, inventory_trans where part.id = inventory_trans.part_id and inventory_trans.transacation_date >= '01-JUN-2004 00:00:00' and inventory_trans.transaction_date <= '31-MAY-2005 00:00:00';

I thought this statement would provide me with all of the records for a part within the last year, but I get a ORA-01830 error.

What I would like it to to is Total that information up and update part.annual_usage_qty with that number, then I could write formulas to figure out the rest of the information.
