Markgeer is one of the eldest Oracle Expert on the EE and the eldest active Expert. We all have learned Oracle and many of us use the excellent scripts proposed by the new Genius. At the time I entered EE (2001) Markgeer (and also another brilliant Oracle professional Dbalasky you can met their postings using the Search tool) was the leader of the Experts.
Markgeer has many contributions here. I will add that being native speaker he uses a brilliant English (as opposite of my ugly English ). He is very calm and sees the problems in their root. Some of the methods proposed by him are really genius I will point the idea to use RAM disk for temporary tablespaces. This speed up 10 times the sort operations in the DB.
