How can explain me this Oracle message?

Hi,

I have a SunFire 4800 running an application that uses Oracle as DB.

On the oracle logfile alert_omc.log i have the following message:

ORA-1684: max # extents 2 reached in table OMCDBSYS.ALARMLOG partition p567.

This message repeats but the partition p??? value changes.

I would like to ask if someone knows what is this and if could assist me on having this error clear from the system.

I don't know if this is also related with the high percentage of  wio on this server, is most of the time with a very high value, when you run a sar command on the machine.
still note the big amount of disks I/O , mostly Read access (from iostat command).

If you would like to have some sort of log file from the system, please let me know.

Hope to hear from you guys soon.
