The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. ORA-01843: not a valid month

Hi

when I try to execute a procedure which will select data from table1 and move data to table2 I am getting this error message

ORA-01843: not a valid month

NLS_DATE_FORMAT               - DD-MON-RR
NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE          -    AMERICAN

below is the sample code. The problem is the DOB is not getting updated and inserted into the table
