I have installed oralce 11.1.0.6 on my win2003 server. I need to upgrade it to 11.1.0.7
what patch# do I need for that?

11.1.0.7.0 for windows CD is available for download
You can upgrade your EBS 11i environment to 11.1.0.7 without going through 11.1.0.6 first.
You can directly install 11.1.0.7 as per:
http://gasparotto.blogspot.com/2009/02/oracle-11107-install-on-oel53.html
http://dbadailytelegraph.blogspot.com/2009/04/silent-installation-of-11107-on-linux.html
But these may still point to upgrade since 11.1.0.7 is a patchset.
This shows install 11.1.0.6 first and then upgrade to 11.1.0.7.

So I think you need to get/download 11.1.0.7 as a patch and then upgrade 11.1.0.6 to 11.1.0.7 as the best bet/safest solution/end-result. Cheers.

You must install 11.1.0.6 first, then apply the 11.1.0.7 patchset.

i have already installed oracle 11g  11.1.0.6 and looking for the latest patch
it is on windows server 03.

there are is also also a patch 8563154 and the one  6890813
which of these is good
oracle version   11.2.0.6 is installed on win2003  on 32-bit

In main post you mentioned 11.1.0.6 and now you are saying oracle version   11.2.0.6 is installed on win2003  on 32-bit. I think it is a typo.

also I downloaded the patch 6890831 and when I tried to unzip it i got the file is corrupted.
