import DB to oracle 10 failed
Hi
i am trying to import db to 10g and the command is running on dos command window without do anything
and without any errors.
1. i installed the oracle 10g on a cleen computer.
2. create new database.
3. connect the net manager after create listener.
4. connect the SQL+.
5. test tnsping wyne - OK
6. add path to the folder of dmp file and import batch.
and run the command from dos or batch and it is just running the command again and again
please see the screen shot.
any idea?
the command is: imp system/oracle@wyne file=file.dmp full=y buffer=5000000 log=imp.log

can it be because the file name is file.dmp?
There is nothing wrong with the file name.
What happens when you just type "imp"? Does it work?

the same happens when i type imp from every where in dos command.
like this batch file burn on the disk.

i changed the name of the batch to import.bat and it started to work.
