Browse All TopicsI have a Hyperlink linked to an Excel spread sheet on the Intranet. I can access the spread sheet but when I try to save it displays READ Only. The attributes are not set for Read Only on the spread sheet.
I would like to be able to have people access the speadsheet through the Hyperliknk from the Intranet and make changes to it. Then press save and it will save the changes to the spread sheet which is located on our local DC.

essentially, what should happen is the link should open the spreadsheet up as if the users manually went into the folder and opened the spreadsheet up.
If the users can't manually write back to the folder then it wouldn't work with the link either.
What if you place the spreadsheet into a folder that the users do have write access to?
