How to Put SECURE_REGISTER_LISTENER in Oracle 11g rel2
Does any one has the steps to secure Listener for 11g rel 2 (11.2.0.3) using SECURE_REGISTER_LISTENER ?
We are using TCP and using Data guard but NOT RAC.
I put the below entry in the listener.ora and did the stop and start of the listener but not sure if there is some additional steps. ( I saw on Google that there is some sql to update the local_listener but some just put this below entry and reload the listener).
I will check with experts.
I did the below 2 steps:---
1. Update listener.ora file with this entry
SECURE_REGISTER_LISFLLPRD = (TCP)
(Where LISFLLPRD is my listener name)
2. stop and start the listener.
