How to get days between dates on same field but different code in Crystal Reports?

I need to calc the difference between two dates.  One could have a code of SC with Incident date and the other could have a code of SR with incident date.  I need to subtract the two dates.
I started an IF statement but cannot get the DATEDIFF to work.  Any help would be appreciated.
