I have installed Cognos "Upfront" on one of my servers. Users inside the domain can access the intranet website fine. Users outside the domain using the Cisco VPN client can access it fine IF their computer has never been joined to the domain. However, if I take ANY domain member laptop home and come in using the VPN, I cannot access the website. Apparently, joiong the domain does something that blocks access to the site.

Are you able to access the webserver itself (ie, instead of http://<myserver>/cognos, just go to http://<myserver>). You should see the "default" server home page. If you don't, then the problem is in the routing.
If you DO get the page, then go to the Upfront page, and describe the message that you get. Also, please post the URL that is dispayed when you do this.
Just off the top of my head, the issue may have to do with OS Signon, if that's enabled.
