You could also build this into a view and call that from Crystal. Views support scalar functions.

Facing difficulties in calling an existing function( present in a package in Oracle) from crystal report. That function takes some parameter and returns one value.
In my report, the SQL query is somehow like :
select column1, column2, myPackage.myFunction(table
from table1, table2
where condition1, condition2
Please suggest, how can I proceed.

I'm not sure Crystal Reports directly supports this syntax. You could however create a stored procedure which executes the query and base your report on the stored procedure.
