The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Scaling issue while trying to show the photos.

Asked by APHComputersLtd in Crystal Reports Software

Hello ,
I am facing a distortion issue when showing the photos in CrystalX1.
I've got report which shows  products' pictures associated to each order.
The pictures are in different sizes, Portrait or landscape.
In the rpt file I've got the OLE picture which is about 2x2Cm.
The pictures shown in this box have got some distortion issue.
I 've used imgx.dll which supposed to do the picture proportion. but didn't cure the distortion in the .rpt file.
I've found the "Scaling images inserted as OLE object" subject (for version 7.0) with related code in the business object website but didn't seem to do the job. Although I beleive the subject is reffering to  Crystal report desingner contorls, while I am using the following types to access my Ole object in the .rpt file. I am not sure this could be a reason that that piece of code didnt' work.

I am using  Dim I As CRAXDDRT.ReportObjects
    Dim j As CRAXDDRT.OLEObject

I am looking forward to your advice,
Many thanks,
D.

P.S.S - F.A.O. mlmcc: Regarding the previous questions please don't think that i ignored your feedback. I will reveiw them as soon as i finish the project which i believe this is the last bit. Thanks.
