Could I get the date conversion formula from a numeric field?

Will they all be YMMDD with the year being in 200x?

Try the
Date (Left({YourField},1), Mid({YourField},2,2), Right({YourField},2)

Put that on the report and format it as you want

To do it directly as a string

Mid({YourField},2,2) & "/" &  Right({YourField},2) & "/0" & Left({YourField},1)

It says a string value is required, this is a numeric value

YOu had it in quote so I thought it was a string

Try
Local StringVar MyDate := cstr({YourDateField},0,"");
Date (Left(MyDate,1), Mid(MyDate,2,2), Right(MyDate,2)

Now it says too man arguments for this function, and has this portion highlighted
