Question

wild card search with multiple input parameter

I have a report with multiple input static parameter. I want to search the data based on the multiple static input values. The parameter values may not be an exact match which is why i am trying to use a wild card. I tried with single input parameter that worked fine but I am not able to do it with multiple input parameter. Please help!

Crystal can't handle it directly.

You will have to write a fancy select statement.  SOmething like this may work.  I have no guarantee this will work.  It worked for my example

Local NumberVar Index;
Local BooleanVar SelectMe;

SelectMe := False;
For Index := 1 to UBound({?My Parameter}) Do
    SelectMe := SelectMe OR {?My Parameter}[Index] LIKE {Header1.Name};

This formula works for only exact search. It is not working for wild search.

I got it. Thanks a LOT. I used following query in the select expert:
Local NumberVar Index;
Local BooleanVar SelectMe;

SelectMe := False;
For Index := 1 to UBound({?My Parameter}) Do
    SelectMe := SelectMe OR {RejectReasons.ErrorDescription} LIKE ("*" &{?My Parameter}[Index]& "*");
