Crystal Reports XI reports developed to print landscape but default to portrait orientaion

Hello Experts,
I have Crystal Reports developed in version 11 that are formatted to print in landscape orientation.  Several users report that the reports still print in portrait orientation, and they have to manually change the page orientation each time they print the report.  Does anyone know of a solution for this problem?

My initial view of this problem is that it points to the report having been assigned a specific printer by the designer, which does not exist on the user's machine.  In such a situation CR just uses the default printer and default settings.

Ok thank you. Does the "No Printer (optimize for screen display)" option under the Page Setup options in CR have any effect on working around this issue, or do you think that I need to select the users default printer each time that I develop a report?

I would agree.  I found in a project we did, that it worked correctly if the printer was set to default to landscape.  Portrait reports printed correctly on a printer that was defaulted to Landscape.

The NO PRINTER option will have an effect.  The user won't have the option to print the report.
That won't help you get around the issue.
