Browse All TopicsHi,
I need to be able to dynamically add an image to a reporting services report. I'm going to be providing functionality for the user to select an image and I will be storing it as an image in a field in SQL Server.
Is it possible to display this in an RS report?
Thanks in Advance,
Lisp

I have the image placeholder set up in my report, as well as the mime type selected as jpeg. The image is successfully stored in my database column, and the source is set to Database, however, when I run my report the image comes out as a red x.... Is there anything else I need to do? The correct column from the database is selected as the source of the image.

It's difficult to get images out of SQL Server and into a report field, but you could achieve the same result by insrting the images you want onto the report, and then use a parameter to hide/show them - depends on the number of images your dealing with.
