Hi,
I am working with one example on SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services. I have a stored procedure with two parameters. I want to call this stored procedure from SQL Server Reporting Services 2005.
CREATE PROCEDURE spEmp
(
@id int,
@name varchar(150)
)
AS
BEGIN
SELECT EmpId, EmpName, EmpSal FROM Emp WHERE EmpId = @id AND EmpName = @name
END
I want to pass
@id AND @name
parameters from reporting services form. Can you please give me link / article / steps to follow this in SQL SERVER REPORTING SERVICES 2005 ?

OK, this is where you learn that the wizard is next to useless! ;-)
If you insist on using it, try using
Exec myProc @Id = 123, @Name = 'Any Name'
Just to clarify, the wizard is fine to get you started, but after you've done a handful of reports, you will find it quicker to create reports without the wizard.
If you want to know how to easily create a template report, just post another question.

Hi kishore
In the dataset, enter just the stored procedure name, making sure the query type is set to Stored Procedure and not Text, then press the ellipsis button [...]
In here are all the dataset properties including query parameters, click on the Parameter tab.
If they are not listed already, enter the sp parameter name in the left hand column including the leading @.
In the right you specify whats to go in it. It can be a report parameter, a result from another dataset or a VB expression.
