Question
Cognos search & select not working
I have been trying to create a feature in a report that I have that allows me to search for a billing code (by count), by location and then date range. The area where the problems creep in are with the search. I am able to successfully enter and then search for a billing code (as you can see on my screenshot).
When I click finish, though, I get the DPR-ERR-2082 error. Looking at the log file didn't do much for me. Help.

The error you posted is mostly useless, because the real error is being hidden by the Cognos Application Firewall. This indicates that the error references the database schema or somethign that Cognos doesn't want to exposet to the end user for security reasons. You'll need to get your adminsitrator to look through the cogserver.log file and find out what the real error is.
