Jump to URL parameter problem

I'm creating a report that is pulling in info from our MS CRM 4 and another backoffice system. I'm looking to add a jump to URL hyperlink to access the Contact record within CRM that any record is associated to. So I've added the following expression to my field:

="http://crmserv:5555/organisation/sfa/conts/edit.aspx?id=" + {Fields!Reference.Value}

Alas, this doesn't work. Can anyone give me a heads up as to where I'm going wrong?

have you tried accessing the url by hardcoding the reference to a known good value?

It could be something as simple as a extra characters on the Reference field being passed in as part of the param.

Problem was caused due to the field i'm using being the CRM GUID. I've had to perform a Conversion to VARCHAR within the dataset to allow me to utilise this field correctly within the hyperlink.

Thanx for your input though.
