Thank you for your response. As soon as I get a chance, I will try this and see what happens. Do you by chance know why MS recommends against installing CRM on a DC? If it is because of the extra demands a DC adds to a server that would be a non issue for me (small network). If it is something else, such as an application / DC compatibility issue, I would be concerned.

Hi Harry,
You can run MSCRM V1.2 on a DC but if you run into problems, Microsoft will not provide any support unless it is on a Small Business Server.
Going off topic, you may want to investigate the add-on products offerred by c360 ( www.c360.com) especially the Activity Summary component.
