The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. MS CRM v1.2 to v3.0 Upgrade - Error

Hello,

During the MS CRM 3.0 Server setup (upgrade), while performing the system requirements verification test, I am recieving the following error:

"Microsoft CRM 1.2 database export failed."

Of the 65 verification checks taking place, this is the only one failing.  Once the above error is received, I can click on "Help", and obtain the following additional information:

"Mal-formed XML Found In Microsoft CRM 1.2 Export Saved Queries"
"Cause: Upgrade has found some mal-formed XML Saved Queries from your Microsoft CRM 1.2 installation"

I have not created any "XML Saved Queries", and honestly do not know what they are (without researching).  Has anyone encourntered this issue, or know how I can resolve it?  I can not find any reference to the error on the MS web site.  The database server is running MS SQL 2000 (8.00.2039 - SP4) under Windows 2003 Std. (SP1), both with the latest patches.  I am running MS CRM 3.0 setup under Win2K3 SBS (SP1).
