Question

Upgrading CRM 1.2 to 3.0; during pre-installation system "check" recieve sqlserveragent error for DB server

I have CRM 3.0 Pro.

I want to install the CRM software on a Windows SBS 2003 SP1 machine
I want the database to be on my Windows 2000 SP4, SQL 2000 SP4 machine

Currently CRM 1.2 currently runs fine distributed like this.
Supposedly CRM 3 Pro can run distributed like this ( I know CRM 3 SBE needs to be all on one machine)

I do not have a named instance of SQL, just the default computer name instance.
sqlserveragent is running in services and is set to autostart


So this is the error I get when trying to run setup (when i click on details of the error).

"Error occurred attempting to set the SQLSERVERAGENT service to AutoStart: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The specified service does not exist as an installed service
      at Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Common.Utility.ServiceUtility.SetServiceToAutoStart(String serviceName, String machineName)
      at Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Server.ServiceRunningValidator.AutoStartLocalService(String servicename, TimeSpan waitTimeForStart)
