CRM 3.0 install failed

When I try to install CRM 3.0 outlook desktop client, I get the following error:

"Setup cannot connect to the Microsoft CRM Server. This might indicate that the server is down"

But the server is not down, and from the client I can connect using the web. Does anyone has an idea?
