CRM 3 synchronisation - Registry Key

Asked by hbasary in CRM Software, Windows 2003 Server

Hi All
We are using CRM 3 and about 35 users are using it. Recently we had a proplem in CRM database that all the contacts are duplicated, in some cases they are triplicated. However we manged to solve this issue. The problem that we have now when the users, particularly the Laptop users who are installed with CRM Outlook clinet for laptop, when they go offline, the synchronisation fails with an error message 'The specified Subscription does not not exist'.

I read a fix for this from a forum that the UserReplicationID key to be deleted from  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSCRMClient. This workedfor me alright on my test platform.

The real problem I have that the users are not on site to go to individual laptops and delete this registry key and I suppose this not practicable. I can write a batch file to delete this key. However I do not how to automate this procedure.

My question is, do you guys and girls have any suggestion to fix this issue? or do you have an alternate solution to the described problem?

I appreciate your help.
