Hey Gang,
Well the days of using Epicor's clientele looking to be circling the proverbial drain. (which I'm fine with.)
Couple things.
Our company has recently added a sales management tool MAS 90. Might have heard of it, might not have. Basically it's an inventory management / sales quote software from SAGE.
The current software that we're using is Epicor's Clientele CRM which is IMO a dwindling dinosaur of a program that we need to offload fast.
Oddly enough, SAGE also has a CRM that cross-integrates with MAS 90 (surprise...surprise...) and can pull information back and forth between the two programs such as quotes, products etc.
Details of the company to get an idea :
Company size : 20
6 Tier 1 Support Staff
2 Tier 2 Support Staff
2 Field Techs
3 Sales People
1 Admin
managers make up the rest.
Now, that said, my pointed question about a CRM is this :
- We need a CRM that has a SQL based engine that we would be able to pull reports out of via SQL queries, crystal reports or other programs.
- We need a CRM that would preferably cross-integrate with MAS 90 and be able to either attach quotes out of MAS 90 directly into the CRM or somehow input/output information in an easy fashion to reduce data entry time.
- A CRM with the main emphasis on Customer Support with a minor dabbling in Sales/Quotes/Purchase orders.
- Has services to convert from aging CRM database to the new one.
- ON SITE INSTALLATION ONLY!! Not interested in Web-based CRM's or "on-demand" CRM's as that doesn't really fit our business model. If you can come up with a compelling reason why I we should look at a web based solution however, I'm all ears.
- Something that is going to be around for the next 5-10 years that doesn't suck to look at (at least looks integrated into XP or possibly Vista) and has a history of good support and outstanding quality.
Tall task right? Well answer away.
Thank you everyone in advance for any input given.
Regards,
Aaron
