CRM customization

I have a current workflow to transfer information from a lead to an account upon creation of the account.  The problem is we like to click on the open newly created accounts so the account is open immediatly and the information is not there yet.  So we have to save and close and then reopen which obviously is not ideal.  

To summarize:  I need custom attributes in a custom tab transfered to a newly created account and populated immediatly without having to save and close.

Hi,

I'm not quite following the logic here sorry.

How can you have a workflow in place to transfer data to an account when the account doesn't exist??
