Ads is a custom object.
Would it be possible to write a custom button that populates a window pulling only the ads for that specific account?

Ads
Opportunity page has a lookup field that points to Ads. When a user clicks on it to attach an Ad to the opportunity, it should only populate the ads that are associated with that specific account. The default Salesforce lookup field populates all the ads in the system.

Unfortunately, filtered lookups are not offered by Salesforce yet as standard functionality. That feature is long-overdue. I would urge you to visit the the IdeaExchange and add your vote for it ... ange.com/D atabase/So ftware/CRM /Salesforc e.com/Q_24 155250.htm l .

However, depending on your specific configuration, you may be able to develop a custom solution. Is "Ads" a custom object, or did you rename Campaigns and add a lookup field to Accounts? If you can provide some additional information, myself or someone else may be able to suggest some alternatives that will help solve your problem.
