Exporting data from Oracle Application throughs error message

On exporting data (File --> Export) from Oracle AP or GL gives me the following error message.
"null Cannot get Connection to the Database"

It shows the export progress and opens up a new page where it shows this error.
I tried logging in using different roles but I get the same message.
I definitely have connection to database because all the payments and processing which I do in AP gets applied to database.
