How to change the :SYSTEM.RECORD_STATUS in forms personalization or in Custom.pll

I need to update the :SYSTEM.RECORD_STATUS using forms personalizations.
Is it possible at all?
I have tried looking to set Item property (the SYSTEM block does not appear at all).
Tried Using a 'Execute a Procedure' builtin too but to no use.
