we have an inventory application designed in oracle froms developer 6 .
we stored device images in a table with long raw field.
i converted the long raw field into blob by alter table modify command .
it seems images are store in the table successfully .
but now we can not see images . its empty .
how can i resolve the problem ?
can i convert the blob back to long raw ? how ?

I dont think that you can convert the LONG RAW data by using alter table command. It probably have corrupted your stored data.
The right way of converting is to use to_lob function. This requires a procedural approach where you copy the data temporarily into a staging table and update your original table back with the blob column.
