Purchase Order Approval through Mobile Phone / BlackBerry
Dear fellows i am interested in Purchase Order Approval through Mobile Phone / BlackBerry. I have seen MSCA Mobile Supply Chain Application Guide but that is for telnet only devices and specific to supply chain. What are setup requirements to make PO approve though "Web App" or "Mobile App" as show in below image URL. We need to work it primarly on BlackBerry.

That will require logging in to EBS through Mobile and Making EBS available on Public IP !?! If this all fuss needs to be done then is there some Notification Alert type mechanism which only sends email, but here a user could also reply that email with keywords to Approve or Reject that PO !?! That reply email could be somehow read back by 11i EBS and its text be scanned for keywords Approve or Reject !?! From email will Authenticated APPROVING AUTH, PO Number also can be found from text and Approve / Reject keywords for action.

Please let me know if you have dont it. We are doing same thing via Black Berry and IPhone.
Please Configure your Workflow Mailer to send the Notification Emails. Also Enable Email Notifications for Each Users. Please make sure that in HRMS and User settings it email address is there.
In workflow mailer configuration you need to specify the Sender Mail Box. Please make sure that you have a valid Mailbox on your mail server. Provide its User Name and Password and Mail Server Address in Workflow Mailer Configuration.
You can Receive that Workflow notification in your BlackBerry. and When User will Click on Approve it will Send One Email Back to Sender Email Address.
Oracle Workflow mailer will Receive that response email back to inbox from User. and process it and change the workflow status to Apprvoe/Reject.
Please let me know if you need more help in configuration for Workflow Mailer.

I am not a DBA so may not know the setups fully. But my understanding is that you just have to setup the mail server so that mails can be sent and received through workflow. Once this is done, Oracle sends emails for notifications and those emails have approve/reject links. User can press these links to approve or reject from the email itself.
